There are two to wash; there are two to dry.
There are two to argue; there are two to cry.
One's in the mud having a ball......
The other holds a crayon,  just look at the wall.
Some days seem endless...my patience grows thin!
Why was I chosen to be the mother of twins?
The answer comes clear, at the end of each day
As I tuck them in bed, to myself I say
There are two to kiss...there are two to hug
And best of all...there are two to LOVE!!

Biography

Julie Riekse was around so many MPOM babies for so long during her three-year tenure as MPOM President that she got the baby bug and decided to have another child, due in September. Baby Girl will join 5-year-old twins William and Elizabeth, who are embarking on kindergarten (sob!) this fall. As the current MPOM Board Advisor, Julie's role is to provide the club with history and guidance. This is a nice change, she says, because no one in her house wants her to give them either. Julie is a Michigan native who came of age in Washington D.C., a journalist by trade and a home cook dedicated to hiding nutritious purees in her family's food a la Jessica Seinfeld.
